A Hungarian Comenius Assistant in Germany

Hello, my name is Adrienn, and I am a Comenius Assistant in the Krüger Internat in Germany.

I am from a tiny country from the heart of Europe, called Hungary and I heard about this program during my university studies. My aim was to study abroad at least for a few months and finally I had the opportunity to be a Comenius Assistant in a small town in Germany.
I came here to learn, work, teach and help as much as I can and benefit greatly from it. Even if there are no Hungarian classes or clubs in the school, I hope I can give some interesting impressions about my culture and the Hungarians with my own personality. I would like to learn a lot about the German culture, and I would like to acquire German as a foreign language and to practice how to be a good English teacher in a foreign country.

First of all, I have a power point presentation on Hungary that I would like to share with you. The presentation contains facts about Budapest, the Hungarian language itself, our cuisine, inventions and sports in Hungary.

Next time I would like to present you the Comenius projects in this school, on which a lot of students are working very hard.

Warm wishes,

Adrienn Vastagh
